Or twitter...

I've come to notice something... I think one of the reasons why I'm still thinking about her every day is because every once in a while I will check her facebook or twitter, I guess that refreshes the cycle and prevents progress.

As well as noticing this, every time I do check her out I just feel low afterward to see how she is moving on with her new man and living fine etc etc...

It's time to break the cycle, it's been over for 5 months, I can't have her back, and even if I could I wouldn't, there's no benefit to checking her s-networks, it does nothing but negative halts the healing process.

I decided to stop doing this 3 days ago, I deleted the few mutual friends we have on facebook (to stop reminders), and I'm promising myself to STOP this obsessive BS and seriously move on with what I have to do.

If I ever check her facebook again, I'm going to post it my failure in this thread, and I want to be mocked and embarrassed by EVERYBODY for doing so.

And if you're in the same position.. this could be an opportunity for you to join me.

You are right, looking at their FB slows healing, and can sometimes put you back at square one. Everyone needs to do themselves a favor and block exes on FB!

Facebook is an artificial place full of fake happiness and light. You will never feel good looking at an exes page, only miserable.

What ^^ said!

Make sure you block them, that why if you have any mutual friends, you wont be able to see what she wrote on there. They pretty much dont exist on FB. I only deleted her from my friends but I could see see some of the stuff, but now its awesome to not know any of it.

Facebook is the devil, get rid of it. You'll be glad you did.

I don't see anything wrong with facebook in general, it's what you make of it...

And I've been making bad use of it and I've noticed it's really slowly me down, it has become a habit to check her FB...

I'm breaking the habit,
