What's with this body language? How to interpret?

I was talking to this guy when I gave a smile (I can't even remember what I was smiling about now :lmao:), when I noticed that his face slowly moved to a small smile/grin. It was a very slow speed. At the same time that he did that, his gaze dropped to look at my mouth/smile. It was like my smile caused him to think (or not thinking, in men's world) of something that he liked.

 

The face language was all subtle but I tend to pick up on all these. I just don't really know how to interpret them.

 

Does anyone know how to read into what I just described?

He was probably happy a cute girl was smiling at him. That sounds like the "I like what I see smile."
