Hi all,

Im going through the same thing as most of you are in here unfortunately. But at the moment it hurts too much to give all the details and ask your advice.

I do have a quick question/or just you to give your advice:

Can you be in love with someone who you know is the "one" for you (soulmate etc) only for that to change overnight? and can you fall back in love with someone?

Thanks for any replies or advice

hey poison tongue

U have asked a very hard question, but yes it is possible and no as well to fall out of love with the one and then fall back in love for many different reasons but there are too many to list.

But for the few off hand.

Maturity for one

The bond at the time

Place in life

Also are both parties at the time commited to long lasting loving realtionship.

These are few but hard to say without knowing exactly what happned.

I've been in two long-term relatinships. The first one, I would have swore to you that she was the one, but I look back on it and feel naive about the entire thing. THe second one, which recently ended a week ago, was for a shorter time (three years compared to four) and I totally feel this was the girl for me. We were the same person (at least I thought so) had the same likes and dislikes...she was great.

There can always be another "one" but in terms of completely getting over this, it's impossible. THere will always be a part of you that thinks about that person...it just affects you less in time than it does now.
