Drseussgrrl Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 I'm not even sure why I feel this way, but I'm just getting sick and tired of getting dating advice from all of my married friends. It's almost as if they have forgotten how tough it is to be single and meet someone you click with. They go home every night to the familiarity and comfort of their spouse or sig other, after telling me why dude A, B or C isn't good enough for me. Guess I'm just feeling a bit lonely - and staring the holidays in the face as a single person feels a little daunting this year. Bleh.
River Rain Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 I know how you feel...although I get that from unmarried friends as well, the ones who have bf's. It makes me want to stop confiding in them to be honest, because they seem to only see what's "wrong" with the guy and they hone in on that.
Author Drseussgrrl Posted November 2, 2012 Author Posted November 2, 2012 Yep my friends who have BF's do the same thing. One of them even married the dude who cheated on her. Another one is dating a guy who always makes her feel like she isn't good enough and will ignore her when he's upset about something. But do I say anything?? NO!
River Rain Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 I find a lot of people just love to give advice that they can't take themselves...eep! I may be guilty of that on LS, lol!
