Mer-Maid Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Aside from the actual act, how would you define "intimacy"? I'm particularly curious how men and women differ in their view of this word so often used when talking about relationships and marriage.
Minka333 Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 For me intimacy is beyond sex. It is that intangible connection between two people. It is the merging of two individuals as one..in mind, body and spirit. Intimacy is that knowing look..the kisses that touch the soul..synced body language..passion conveyed through actions..total unspoken understanding...and deep feelings/desires shared by two.
sweetkiwi Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 intimacy for me is sharing my true thoughts, desires, fears, with my other. And him doing that with me. Its laughing at something thats only funny to us. Its how we read eachother's body language. And respond accordingly, not just ignore it. Its feeling the love between us with every kiss, every word.
