Ross MwcFan Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 You're being negative. Walk into a cafe wearing that and you'll get noticed from every woman in there, promise. Even a death-metal chick knows it ain't her "style," but wouldn't be able to deny that it's classy, can't really argue with it- to be a well-dressed man. It shows you can coordinate, use an iron, and present yourself in an adult manner.. we eat with our eyes and that looks good. It's the garnish on good-looking man and will bring up the status of even a frumpy guy.. but notice.. the model in the photo is slim. Just a nice casual look, personally. That's not my day to day. I own about 20 something pairs of board-shorts, I'm really not one to talk. As I said in my first post, every vacation I've made it a point to amass a wardrobe of varying stuff.. from shoes, to cool sneakers, to tailored pants/jackets, and even jeans-Diesel does in-house alterations. and they tailor them in the store to fit you perfectly... Because when they fit right, they look better. But again, that gets pricey. Most styles can be cheaply done if you have an eye. I rely on women, not even going to hide it. Even if I find myself shopping alone, I am not shy about grabbing a group of women to ask their opinion. With out them, i'm in board-shorts. I'm not being negative or positive. I'm just saying it how I and how many others (at least in many places in the UK) see it. If you think that style looks so good, how come you usually don't dress like that yourself? In your pics your clothes look perfectly fine, and much better. Same with Smileface too.
GorillaTheater Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 But I do like logos. Unless by "logos" you mean something other than what I'm thinking of, you and I differ on that point. I hate the thought of being a free walking billboard for any for-profit entity. 1

I said I like guys who dress like that. Plus most of my pics aren't from my day to day life. Social gatherings, vacations, parties - my style of dress will vary. Style is about being able to adapt. Plus I have a type and most of my types dress more conservatively. It just what I like - I like someone who can make the clothes and not have the clothes make them. 1
sweetkiwi Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 i keep trying to change my message settings but its not working. I am technologically retarted. I wish i could've been naked when i was in hawaii. Especially at the black sand beach i went to. It was gorgeous. As i'm sure you know.
sweetkiwi Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 okay hawaii. Explain it to me like i was a small child, or a golden retriever. I went to your profile and i looked at everything, i'm a creepster, and nowhere did i see a message button. Or a massage button.

I don't remember the full creditionals but someone should be along to let you know. You have to be here a certain time before unlocking that feature. 1
sweetkiwi Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 credentials!? Uh i'm a real person. I even have my own photo on here. What do they need? My social security number?
rocketman122 Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 According to some people on LS, if you're over 25 you should dress really boring and conservatively like this, http://media-cache0.pinterest.com/upload/274438171013696604_eAMwRfNK_b.jpg I dress like this once in a while. My GF loves it. and girls eye **** me when we go out. I also fold the sweater and sleeves up. she loves it when I go preppy. big bodybuilder dressing like a geek? heh..you have no idea.. sweater by abercrombie or brooks brothers. pants by Hilfiger or D1 dockers. I buy my belts from ETSY.com (KICK AZZ SITE) and boat shoes by Timberland. button down shirts only from calvin klein !! I usually alter the fit of the shirt using my sewing machine. yes, I know how to use a sewing machine. so what..? never seen a man who knows how to use a sewing machine? Jeremy Clarkson can sew well! all my clothes are fitted. Like I said, I dress VERY well.. 2
SmileFace Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 credentials!? Uh i'm a real person. I even have my own photo on here. What do they need? My social security number? No, you took that wrong. You have to be here for a certain amount of time and have set amount of messages before being able to send messages. That is how it has always been. It doesn't vary person to person.
sweetkiwi Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 i know it doesn't vary member to member. I guess i'll just have to wait and one day i'll get a message. Or i can post like crazy. Starting. Now. 1
Ross MwcFan Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Oh well, it's considered a nerdy look over here anyway. Most people over here dress in fashionable stylish stuff.
ascendotum Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Uggs are fine. Have you seen a curvy Hot blonde (not fat one with waist size 32 but a waist size 24 and 36 for hips) wearing those in just Leggins? When I see them walking on the snow, I want to call them a 'snow bunny' I reckon ugg boots are fine too, when paired with tight/skinny jeans or leggings.

Ross MwcFan Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 http://www.voijeansatduffermenswear.co.uk/img/voi%20t%20shirts%20-%20white.jpg This looks like a bib.. for jizzum. Lol! What? The nerdy stuff, is pretty nerdy- but still doable. I just wouldn't buy it. And all the nerdy stuff is boring button down ****s, bland v-necks, and slacks. a clever girl would check out my signature.
Ross MwcFan Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 I really like stylish hoodies I have some really shear ones i wear in the summer to keep the sun off me out here. See? A lot of weird people on here though would say only kids wear stuff like that.

Plus you are confusing nerdy guys with nerdy clothes. However number 2 and 3 in fashionable clothing are fugly. 2
Anela Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 credentials!? Uh i'm a real person. I even have my own photo on here. What do they need? My social security number? One month, and so many posts to your name (which you've already covered).

However number 2 and 3 in fashionable clothing are fugly. Not sure what you mean. Those clothes (plain v-necks and slacks which people on here advise me to wear and think they are a must for anyone who is older than their mid 20's) are considered as nerdy, creepy and unfashionable in the UK. That's why you have nerdy guys sporting them (oaky, I know the third guy is American). The guy in the first two is an actual nerd in a TV show over here called Eastenders, he doesn't socialise, always seems depressed, doesn't know how to have a good time, is always uptight, and is into stuff like Star Wars and computers. There's another guy in another TV show over here who is nerdy and seems to be autistic who wears the same kind of style. No one else in these TV shows wears that kind of stuff, they just wear fashinable stuff like the examples that I've shown, which is the kind of stuff most teenagers and men wear over here. Put that black guy in a button down and he will be just as hot as he is in his nice sweater. I like guys that look good - his clothes won't make a difference. Showing me nerdy guys isn't proving your point. That is what I am saying. I am from NYC I am pretty sure I have a good idea of what is considered fashionable.

However number 2 and 3 in fashionable clothing are fugly. I still think those clothes would not do most guy's any favors. That pic that Ross posted earlier on to a degree as well. Its neat but conservative. A good looking guy could carry it off well, and many woman would describe him as smartly dressed man. Someone said a guy who knows how to use an iron. I'd be really surprised if that thought would go through many single woman's mind's but I'd be curious. Most single guys with white collar jobs use an iron. In reality a guy with a broad shoulder athletic build will make a lot of clothing styles look good. In the cheap chain store catalogues, most of the cheap brand outfits look pretty decent when its a handsome model posing in them. For an average joe, with un-athletic build, something more stylish or edgey in style would help him stand out with an identity more than the neat conservative look would. I agree that 'well fitting' clothes are a great concept. I get things altered and I buy slim brands that suite me.. ie G-Star. Even a cheaper slim fit brand Tarocash or YD looks better than say a Hugo Boss equivalent at more than twice the $. I've been complimented on my style, but its usually from married/attached women. yongyong Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Men and Women's fashion is totally different. Go to stores like Banana Republic, J-crew. You will see the same style over and over in mens. For women, you will see lots of different styles every season. For men, it's about the Fabric and the Fit. Why drop $$$ on nice suits when you can buy the same looking ones for $150 at H&M? H&M has stylish jackets but it looks just cheap. Men can wear some accent pieces but they can't wear something flashy that draws attention. It's all about being Subtle. For Women, OMG you can wear lots of different styles and colors. A lot of clothes are made by cheap fabrics like polyester. it's more about style than the quality. I don't see a problem for women even in late 20s and 30s, shopping at cheap places like H&M and Forever 21. In the end, it's about who wears it.

Edgy is definatley good. Well fitting is really important too, the clothes need to hang off you in the right way too. I just got a top the other day, and it shows off my physique to an extent (not that I'm saying I've got an amazing physique or anything), I've never worn a top that has done that before, I think it looks great.
