lovebug1234 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 I starting dating and there's a guy I like, I actually asked him out and we seem to get along fine. The issue is that he is moving a lot faster then I can handle (I told him already) and we're slowing down a bit. THe problem is I'm still getting over someone I had a crush on. Sometimes, I just want to break it off with the (new) guy because I get so hung up on the heartache other days I really enjoy hanging out with the new guy. What should I do?
mysteryscape Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 to start to get involved with someone new when you're still emotionally very involved with someone else. Not fair to anyone. Does the new guy know about the old crush and your ambivalence? What would he think if he did? At this point I'd probably say level with him, even if it causes a lot of trouble, because you're nor really being honest with him, or really available emotionally.
