Necromancer Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 That a good\muscular body is really that important to women, Since I work out myself and many of my friends (few have been on roids) then my experience tells me otherwise. I think it's a bonus but far away from being as important as some guys claim. 3
fortyninethousand322 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I never said this. Having a good body is hit or miss. Being a chiselled "300" extra isn't going to do it for a girl who likes skinny hipster types. And vice versa. Attitude and confidence (some might term this "swagger") is what really matters. In my experience, the capacity for such "swagger" is genetic. Either you have the ability or you don't. And typically, you find this out by your early 20s.

Ive had tons of success since bodybuilding. ok success before starting, but today, they dont stop staring. its very clear its only because of that. its what attracts them first. then you have to have the gift of gab to keep them. we will agree to disagree Edited October 30, 2012 by rocketman122 2

iris219 Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 I agree. Many women don't really care much about body type. Others have a preference, but that preference varies. Some like guys with some meat on them; I personally like the skinny hipster type.
phineas Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Considering we interact with the opposite sex a majority of the time wearing clothing you are correct. It depends. If you look like you lift & aren't wearing baby-gap then it matters. I think just not being fat matters more than being a body builder type & being lean matters more than skinny fat. Personally myself when I hit the point where I looked like I do in my avi women very much took notice. 3

I see how she runs her hands breasteses. its not so much an affection kinda touch but more more "wow this is nice" kinda touch. I too have a preference as well. I like small boobs on a girl and guess what she has? monster balloons! if you had a nice muscular body then you would realize how true it really is catch woman. and im not talking about all those guys who weigh 160lbs 5'10" and ripped. thats not muscular. thats just low bodyfat. dont be delusional..that is far from muscular. to look above average and muscular you should weigh 10 kg above your height. Im 185cm and weigh 95kg. 1

Im 185cm and weigh 95kg. I like an athletic body type (ala David Beckham). I just don't like big guys, like the ones who look like they played football or rugby in high school. I don't like thick legs, broad shoulders, or big necks. I prefer men who are more feminine. If I met a bigger guy (I don't mean fat here) and got to know him, I'd date him. I just wouldn't look at him from across a room and be attracted to him without knowing him first.

I simply want to stand out and be bigger than average. and it works. but why are you saying the way you look doesnt matter when it says "Where only looks matter." in your avatar? HAHA ah, I gotcha

I just don't like big (whether it's fat or muscle). Just my preference.
ThaWholigan Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 It doesn't help much if you don't know how to be attractive, no.
Feelin Frisky Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 If I had to guess I think women are more attracted to men whose choice in clothes accentuate their looks than men just are good looking dudes would rather show off their skin. If you have nice abs, it nothing to go shirtless whereas the right pants, belt and shirt that "imply" that there's a six pack like no other beneath is bound to get inside the better lady's head.
phineas Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Women prefer men that are fit, tall, and intelligent. Short men with large muscles and usage of steroids may give the impression to women that they have no brains. Why does a short guy with large muscles = steroids & no brains and not a tall guy?
dasein Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Being in shape is a tremendous advantage generally for men, and the factor of attraction we have the most control over, so why not start there?
yongyong Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 It's interesting to see Men say 'I need to be toned to be able to attract hot women' Women say 'I refuse to work out for a hot guy. you should deal with my body since it's all about personality' Why TF is it that way? Men has insecurity about their body? Women developed Fattitude?
MrCastle Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 I'm 145 lbs and 5'7. I've won over guys who were taller and with much more muscle definition. You either have it or you don't. The guy who used to be in my avatar (James Dean) was my height and weight and is considered a sex symbol and an icon of cool. I don't see him losing out to "The Situation".
CarrieT Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 That a good\muscular body is really that important to women, Since I work out myself and many of my friends (few have been on roids) then my experience tells me otherwise. I think it's a bonus but far away from being as important as some guys claim. And many of us prefer the cerebral, brains over braun kinda guy. I've had guys who are built and I've had guys who are intellectual gods. I'll take the guys who spend time in a library or a bookstore over a gym.
dasein Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 There you go OP, get to the library and start doing curls using "Rememberance of Things Past." 2
GirlontheLam Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Attitude and confidence (some might term this "swagger") is what really matters. In my experience, the capacity for such "swagger" is genetic. Either you have the ability or you don't. And typically, you find this out by your early 20s. More like having a discernible personality. That's what makes the difference. speak for yourself. Ive had tons of success since bodybuilding. ok success before starting, but today, they dont stop staring. its very clear its only because of that. its what attracts them first. then you have to have the gift of gab to keep them. we will agree to disagree We might stare, but we won't be interested unless we like you and click with you. That's above the whole being buff thing. I've got a flirtation going now with a body building guy (he's cut, not huge) and I wouldn't be flirting back if he didn't have an appealing personality. I initially wrote him off to be honest. I usually go for another type. **I don't like skinny guys either. But the right chemistry and anything is possible.
yongyong Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Women always say such stupid things. It's like men saying 'I don't care about her looks. It's about her personality' Would you believe when someone says this sxit? No, men want a cute looking chick with a sweet personality. There are tons of smart guys in shape who do healthy activities. Isn't that what you want? then why do you spit out such sxits? does it make you feel more 'humane'? And many of us prefer the cerebral, brains over braun kinda guy. I've had guys who are built and I've had guys who are intellectual gods. I'll take the guys who spend time in a library or a bookstore over a gym. 2

I think it's a bonus but far away from being as important as some guys claim. Its not the end all-be all for men or women. However, its true that a fit, tight, and well shaped man or woman will get loads more people attracted to them. Not for nothing dude, but once I filled out in my 20s, it was easy to notice women were more attracted to me. However, if you have an ugly face, a hot body wont fix that. I know a girl from college whos got a smoking body. But her face is down right unattractive to me. So Ive never made a move. If she was even just somewhere near average looking in the face, Id so go for it. Because her body really turns me on, but the face is a right turn off. 1

Yeah the soccer body seems to be most womens fave. Lean, yet muscular and toned. Thats what I aim for. Id love to be built like Ronaldo or Drogba. They are my goal
