rach24680 Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 4 year relationship We broke up 3 months ago I've done my couple of 1 night stands and going partying I wasn't upset when we split cs it was a long time coming Haven't broke NC and saw him once to pick up my stuff Didn't have any feelings when I saw him I don't miss him, but I am lonely. I go out with my friends and see my family I'm happy in my job and house etc. etc. Just want to find someone, I love being in love and love someone loving me, and I want that again.

I want my friends to be happy. However, I can see that two of my close friends can never be alone and just go from relationship to relationship. My roommate separated from her husband after he cheated in Feb,and by April she was in another relationship and hasn't divorced yet. I know she didn't have enough time to process what happened, deal with the loss, and fix things within herself. Just know that if you take this time for yourself, you'll know what you want and it'll be worth it when you don't feel like you NEED someone to feel okay. 1

Not having that missing piece hinged on HAVING someone.. thats a dangerous place to be and will cause you to put up with bad situations. We all get lonely, including people in relationships.
