I dumped my boyfriend a couple of days ago because of a few issues, but now im questioning myself again, and I cant rest until I know ive done the right thing.

Reasons I dumped him:

1) we didnt have the same goals- I want to go to uni in Germany hopefully next year or year after and possibly live there , and he has his work here in England already. ( but what if i dont get in or end up getting a job here? )

2) I am partially not over my ex.

3) I didnt always feel it anymore, I questioned if my being with him was the right thing alot.

4) I took a break before to figure out feelings, but came back, because I missed him.

5) I wavered at saying I love you , because I was confused.

6) After the "break" and a bit before, the relationship seemed to be going downward, we didnt know what or say to eachother anymore, it just felt off.

7) In the future things like his technology and video game addiction would annoy me

Now, after I properly broke up with him, me as the dumper although it was mutual in the end, am going through heartbreak. I miss him again, but do I miss him or miss being in a relationship? Is it for the best, and did I do the right thing?

How many times are you willing to rinse and repeat before you buy a new shirt?

Your substantive doubts surely validate the second breakup. In my world a break means it's over.

I'd say that's correct. You make a few points, like not feeling it anymore, that are really quite big issues. With some of the lesser ones you have to ask yourself, could you make a compromise on that topic for the sake of the relationship. From the things you've written and the way you've written them I get the impression that the answer would be 'no' for many of them.
