spiegel549 Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Friday we were texting back and forth and she was begging me to tell her what our plans for date #2 were for this Sunday. I was flirting back and forth and told her its a surprise etc and I would call her Saturday (today) She said sounds good talk to you tomorrow. So I call today around early afternoon, no answer, left a VM short and sweet "hey its tom, hope your having a nice day, give me a shout when you get a chance bye." It's been several hours...no response...can I call again tonight if I get no response? I want to make sure we are set on what time I am getting her in the a.m. Am I over thinking?? Help!?

Next time, don't beat around the bush with "How are you, what's up, give me a call." You want to know something specific. "I want to make sure we're still on for X at Y. Give me a call back to confirm." 1

ALSO: We have been over the top flirting with each other and she was begging me to tell her about the date. Thats why I said we will be outside and wear something cute.

phineas Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Sounds like a lot of effort for a 2nd date. I'm a firm believer of it shouldn't matter what we do on early dates. It should just matter that she's on a date with me.
