Sun Devil Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 I currently go to therapy to help with my aspergers. It is a group therapy and one of the members is a shy yet cute girl. She never initiates conversation with anyone even though she is surrounded by people. I was able to get her to start talking and she seemed to be come more comfortable around me. How shold I ask her out. Should I be blunt and tell her that I think that she is cute or should I be slow and take it easy?
ScreamingTrees Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Why have I never read about your Aspergers before? Maybe that's the issue you have to deal with, not being too short.. You probably should try to get her to talk. Be more direct if all else fails..
Ross MwcFan Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Go for it mate! As Del boy says, he who dares wins! 1

Don't be too blunt, but at the same time, you should let her know that you are interested at some point. Off topic, but I would like to go to more meetups with people with Aspergers.
Author Sun Devil Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 How should I let her know that I am interested? Would telling her that she is cute be too far or is it just right. It is not like I am telling her that I am in love with her.

It is not like I am telling her that I am in love with her. I think just suddenly coming out with 'you're cute' is going too far. When you're talking to her again, and you've been talking for a short while, ask her if she'd like to go out for a drink sometime.
Author Sun Devil Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 I only met her once and our group meets once a week. I was able to get her to talk with me for half an hour. I am still not sure exactly how to let her know that I am interested without sounding desperate
Author Sun Devil Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 We are all here for aspergers, thought not everyone has the e same symptoms. My symptom is the inability to express emotion and she is here becasue she is very shy.
