spiegel549 Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 I over think everything, but the first date went awesome. I called her tonight and set up the second date. After I got off the phone I figured we wouldn't of spoke for a day or two but she texts me.. She asks me about how things are going with what I am doing, keeping the convo going...I tried to end it so it wouldn't drag on and she asked more questions (fine by me I think thats great) after the final text she writes "ok have a great night too, sorry to have interrupted you." I simply replied "You did not interrupt me, I enjoyed talking with you, have fun!" Why is she sorry for interrupting? Whats going on in her head? Is this showing interest? (Sorry I am HORRIBLE at this crap...and over think everything) advice please!? =)

If someone shows that he wants to end the text conversation or actual phone call in the middle of me saying or asking something, I would feel a bit upset and would probably act the same way she did. It would be my way of saying "oh, alright, if you have better things to do than listen to me, I'll leave you to it." But it's really hard to tell from just that line what she was thinking.

When I said I tried to cut it off I don't mean I abrasively said "yeah I hear ya ok well I gotta go bye!" After we went back and forth a few times her text kept ending with a closed sentence, not asking me anything. So i said "blah blah yeah thats awesome, well I hope you have a good night then!" and then she replies with another question...after a few back and forths she said she was going out or w.e have fun sorry to have bothered you... watcha think? =)

Did you say "goodnight" multiple times, or just once? If you did it multiple times , she may have realized you were just looking to end the conversation for whatever reason (that you were busy, not interested, etc.). If she said sorry for interrupting, she may be thinking a few things. One possibility is that she thinks that u are not interested. Or that she wnated to talk and was kinda annoyed you were trying to get rid of her. Or maybe I'm overanalyzing it. Still, if someone did that to me, I would get pretty annoyed and do the same thing she did and the next time he mssges me, I would be careful not to overdo it and let HIM be more enthusiastic about texting me.

I hope its not that =( I honestly only said have a goodnight once. and that was right after she gave me a closed text. Thinking she was done. After I sent that, she asked more questions and I got more flirty with her and went more back and forth into the convo. Then she said "well my dad convinced me to go out after all, have fun sorry for INTERUPPING you." because she knew I was hanging out with my little cousins because she asked "how are things going with the kids?" but she did say Interrupt. not bother...does that change things?
