RiverRunning Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Now if more women would find shorter guys attractive!! In my experiences, it does tend to go strongly in both directions. I've had my share of rejections from shorter men who couldn't stand going out with a 5'8" woman.

yongyong Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 People will make general assumptions. they are just keeping their mouth shut because they either don't know you or think it's inappropriate. What if I go to friends meeting with a hot gf? I am sure guys will ask me 'how did you meet her' privately Or even compliment her publicly Average looking gf? they will just say 'you guys look cute' a girl looks way below than me? they won't even bring up the subject of looks because they know I will get offended. I am not saying you should go out with someone just to impress others. But when you get those judgements, it's a good way to test if you are really into him/her or not. 'hm.....he is shorter than you, why are you going out with him?' does it make you think twice about him? then you know you are not that into him. My ex started out at 150 pounds and got up to around 200 pounds by the end of the relationship - he looked better heavier. Person I'm with now hovers between 150 - 160 pounds. He's shorter and smaller-framed than I am. People really need to get over the complex of, "But I can't date a bigger woman/smaller man because everyone will stare!" No, they won't. Unless you look like a circus side show, no one is going to be staring at you. If you're generally not attracted, fine, but for god's sakes, some people act like they're going to be cornered all the time.
Star Gazer Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Most men aren't that good at judging weight of women, given how different women can look at the same weight, depending on their body composition, and it's not like most women are going to be honest in telling a guy what they weigh. I'm 5'4'' and 145 and now a loose size 6 in pants. Most guys estimate me around 125-130. In any event, in adulthood, the lightest guy I ever dated was probably around 165, and he was much too thin for me. I was 10 years younger and about 125 then (I looked way too thin, for my frame/shape). Heaviest I've dated was probably around 260, and I was about 155 then. Both were around 6' or 6'1''. Ideally, I like 'em at 6'-6'1'' and around 200-210.
RachR Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Heaviest was 40 lbs heavier than me...lightest was 40 lbs lighter than me (my weight has fluctuated and the men I've dated have varied in weight range).

It's almost crazy how women can look so different being the same height/weight.
Author hinatticus Posted October 28, 2012 Author Posted October 28, 2012 (edited) Any other lighter guy-heavier girl experiences? I'd like to know from the point of view of heavier girls with lighter guys. was the sex awkward? Was it fun? Did you feel like than man? I guess I'd like to hear from the lighter guys perspective as well. Personally, being a small guy, I like how long legs wrap around me;) Edit. Heavier than me generally means taller too. ScreamingTrees Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Well, I'm about 89 lbs. and I'm 5'2 and I'm a male. If she were to be on top, the gravitational force of her vagina on my frail body would've been too great, I would've been sucked in and suffocated somewhere in the recesses of her snatch, never to be seen or heard from again. PETITE MEN, BEWARE
