Hi,

I'm here cause i'm confused and to vent out a few things.

I been a relationship for about 3 months, it was going great and still i believe is a steady relationship.

I started getting confused when she had gone to visit her folks. After she was back she was keeping a little distance with me. There was no frequent msg or calls. No more mushy talks, i asked her alot of times she told its because she was streesed out and stuff. Yesterday she told me that she was getting too attached to me thats the reason she was keeping the distance. She was scared that if she gets too attached and when time comes when we have to break up she cant go through an emotional trauma again( she had a bad break up itseems she got over with it and took some time and got into a relationship with me.)

I spoke to her and she told that she will be all normal again and will get back to what she was earlier.

I'm still scared , I had checked her mobile found a msg with a guy who she was talking for a week now. It was all normal msg and she had mentioned about me and nothing negative, But there were a lot of msg between them ( That explains why I was getting few msg)

Just confused.

Guys lemme know what could be the reason.

I'd have to wonder if she really did go to visit her folks, or another guy (or both). Especially with the distancing after coming back. This usually means another guy.

So she has been talking to a guy for a week. How soon is this after she returned?

You can do one of three things. Continue to monitor the situation and phone to see if the messages point to a romance with another guy. You can dump her, or you can disappear and see if she comes around.

It sounds like she is interested in this other guy and keeping you as a back up plan, but not even putting much effort into that.

relationships need to be centered on trust. if you already feel the need to check her phone then you dont trust her. if you dont trust her by now you probably never will. also, your gut is your best friend in situations like this. if something feels off then it doesnt matter what is actually happening, you need to do whats best for you.... in this case it might be distancing yourself just like she is. This would be "mirroring" her. This is a difficult thing to do for most thought because you have to control your feelings in a way that might not really be natural. Seems like i'm the only female who has posted here so far lol so you may feel most comfortable going with what the guys say here. Whatever you do, maintain your good character while keeping your best interested at hand. Good luck!
