How often should I contact her? New relationship

So I met someone through a friend. We hung out as a group a few times and got closer each time. Last week I called her asked her out. We went out and had a great time. After I went home she text me and thanked me for the great day. We've been having texting conversations at least once a day for the past week and have plans to see each other in a few days. My question is, how much should I text her at this point? I don't want to appear needy or desprate by texting too much. I don't want her to think I'm not interested by not contacting her enough. I really like this person and don't want to screw it up. Any advice? You can tell I've been out of the dating game for a while.

Keep doing what you're doing since it seems to be working, a few conversations a day. Next time you see her ask her what she thinks of the whole texting thing and you'll know your answer.

Agreed. Things are progressing, so you're doing something right. Just make sure its not all day, and you're not texting her multiple times before she replies.

Not sure how much you are texting and talking between dates.

 

If date one went well and you have date two this weekend I would tone down on the texting/ cheating so you have stuff to talk about on a date.
