Necris Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Okay recently I met this girl we're both in our twenties and things seemed to be going well she seemed at the time interested in me at least from my perspective and she seemed to really want to learn more about me and told me she would really like to see me again in the end I got her phone number. I took her up on her offer and sent her a message about 10 days ago, and now all of a sudden she responds with a generic "good morning, thanks for the message". I decided to answer her back, while I have my doubts about her level of interest I asked her out, and she tells me she already has plans perhaps another time. Should I keep trying? Or is she simply not interested? I'm personally leaning towards not interested 10 days is a long time to message someone and also she kind of rejected my offer to hang out saying she had plans but didn't elaborate on what they were so I feel that's a code word for "No". Then again I don't have any options its not like anyone is ever interested in me, so I still have that urge to keep trying but I'm probably wasting my time.
xdahliax Posted October 21, 2012 Posted October 21, 2012 I don't think that she's interested. She took 10 days to reply, didn't even bother taking two seconds to come up with an excuse, and then didn't try to reschedule. If you haven't answered her last text, just tell her to let you know when she'd like to go out. That way the ball is in her court and you won't wonder if you gave up too quickly.
