journey3 Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 I'm curious if there's a sure way to tell, or how long it would last . I mean would a guy play someone for months? And say stuff like they miss you- quote"I miss you, no, I really miss you" & he told me he wanted us to have a long term relationship, but then turn around & not call, or get snappy, like, I called himm he couldn't talk(work) then call me back & say"what do ya want" no hello, nothing. So, I wrote him telling him, I didn't appreciate the way he talked to me & if he wanted to continue this to call, but theres been no call. There's alot more to it, but I don't want to write a book. But if anyone can give some I dea of how & how long a guy could really plat with ya, I would appreciate it.
LikkleMissConfused Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 There is no sure way of knowing but from my experience, if you have a gut feeling go with it?
HoldOn Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 A guy will play with you FOREVER if you let him. If a guy goes hot and cold like this...(first being nice and then being a jerk)... then forget about it. A guy who really likes you will be consistently nice. Sounds obvious, huh? There are soooo many posts on this site..."This guy said he liked me, but then he called me a b!tch and hung up on me. What does that mean?" I say, who cares what it means. He is a jerk. Why do you even want to talk to him again...
Wellnowuknow Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Like they say a girl can fake an orgasm but a guy can fake a whole relationship! He will play you girl as long as you let him. He sounds like a d*ick anyways... If you feel he's playing which it sounds like he is then move on...
YellowLioness Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Lol. Holdon, I just wanted to say that I laughed at your, "There are soooo many posts on this site..."This guy said he liked me, but then he called me a b!tch and hung up on me. What does that mean?" I say, who cares what it means. He is a jerk. Why do you even want to talk to him again..." quote. Its funny, but it's so very true. Yeah, its like... if he's being a jerk, and you haven't done anything to make him mad, then lose him. Everyone has their moments of being a butt head... But this hot and cold stuff will get you no where but chasing your own tail. Its not "what did I do to make him.." screw that. You didn't do anything. He's just a creep. You cannot control some one else's actions. If he liked you, he'd want to hear your voice. In fact, HE'D CALL YOU. :-) once a man likes you, wild horses could not drag him away from you. This I know for a fact.
YellowLioness Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 This is the first time that I've ever quoted something correctly on this site. Wow!

YellowLioness Posted July 30, 2004 Posted July 30, 2004 Rent a movie, Bill Bellamy's "How to be a Player." Any questions you have should be answered. :-D
Curt Posted July 30, 2004 Moderators Posted July 30, 2004 A guy will play with you FOREVER if you let him. It's been my experience that men do not have the patent on this type of behavior. Curt
