College_Stoodent Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 After a 6 1/2 year relationship, ex broke up with me due to GIGS. She wanted to end it all, but I told her that when she's past her feelings with wanting to be single that she can contact me and we'll talk about it. In the last 6 months of out relationship she had gotten more distant due to GIGS and was considering leaving me. She also wanted A LOT of space in the last 2 days before she broke up with me, since she felt like she was being smothered. I have a lot of her stuff at my place, but she didn't want to claim in right away after the break up. We agreed to go NC. Three weeks later, out of the blue, I get a text from her asking me when I'm planning on giving her her stuff back. I ignore it, and about an hour later, she also texts saying she wants us to talk if I'm up for it. What does all this mean and what would she wanna talk about? I'm planning on sleeping on it before making any moves if I decide to respond but I'm really confused.

It's been 3 weeks no contact and it's a killer, I know I won't be the one that contacts her as much as I want to, but if she wants to talk she will contact me... In your case she has taken that step and if you still love her and care for her I think you should definitely go for it

I would respond with a time to come get her stuff - you leave, have a friend there. "If you want to get your stuff, you can come by tomorrow at 8pm, John will be here" If she wants to talk to you about your relationship she will let you know.

I was just thinking the same... she wants her stuff back, and she said so... I don't see the need to find secret messages on it.
