UncleMikey Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Hey guys, New to the forum and in dire need of advice. I'll try to keep it short. I went out on two dates with this girl. She's 27, I'm 24. Both dates went really well. The second date ended with her inviting me into her house, us getting really drunk and almost going all the way (she said she was on her period). The next day, I text and call her (a mistake, I know) to make sure she had a good time. I knew something was up right away when she didn't answer my text and could only stay on the phone for 45 seconds. The whole time, she's made it clear that she's extremely busy and focused on her career. The day after, I Facebook chat with her and she eventually tells me that she's too busy to date anybody. What the hell? Why did she hook up with me two nights before? I might have been mislead the whole time by her demeanor. She's very outgoing and free-spirited, which I took to mean that she was into me and very interested. I was even told by her friends before we dated that she's not looking for a relationship. Where did I go wrong? Did I seem too attached too soon? I'm very confused, very depressed about this, and can't stop thinking about it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

There's something that she realized or found out that she didn't like. 1. It's either she really just wanted a hook-up and now she's got it, you're out. 2. She didn't find sex to be fulfilling. I know women that will immediately dump a guy if they don't have their desired "size". I have a lot of close female friends. Some don't care, but some do. 3. She realized she's really not interested in you. Note : Sending a text message or calling the girl you went on a date with the next day isn't going to be an issue if she is equally interested in you. Don't play that game if you're looking for something long-term. You can only play it for awhile to keep the "thrill", to keep that girl interested for awhile, but when that "thrill" fades and things get real, you're out. Walk away, find someone who can appreciate you better. 1
