doernvanbuyten Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 I'm going on a third date with a girl I have known for a very long time (not very personal). (Nearly over 8 years, we were togeter for a week when I was about 14 years old. I then got a long term relationship with another girl (6 years) but it has ended recently. I got back in contact with this girl. I believe she is into me but she wants us to get to know each other better. Our first date went excellent, we talked for nearly 4 hours, and no remarks here, it was very fun for both of us. I ******ed it up a little bit in a previous date by leaving her early after I attempted to make a move on her and her cellphone alarm went off (totally unexpected). I didn't feel comfortable at the situation so I left immediately. I have apologized already to her. But I really want to make it up to her by giving her a nice and 'SMALL' present. (I don't want to be too greedy). I find it hard to think outside the box. So far the only thing I have is just give her a old-fashioned yellow rose... I'm not sure what she likes a lot, I do know her hobby is nail art and she is following evening courses for this. But I feel it would be awkward to buy something I don't know anything about. So currently i'm really stuck and can't find an appropriate gift. I want it to be something special so I can give it to her and apologize again for my behaviour last time... Any ideas are welcome, thanks a lot in advance !
veggirl Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 you don't need to get her a gift. you apologized for your snaffu, so what's the big deal now? just forget that even happened and enjoy your 3rd date. a gift is too much! don't mention what happened on your 2nd date again... 2
mtnbiker Posted October 15, 2012 Posted October 15, 2012 Here's an idea...no gift. Really on just the third date?! -JMO 1
