Australians use a term called "WOG" which means Wealthy Oriental Gentleman. Because most of the Indians, Asians, and Arabs living in America and other Caucasian countries are there because they have a wealthy profession. I'm not saying that white women are automatically "gold diggers" when it comes to dating Asian men, but that is certainly the appeal that begins the attraction and desiring a luxury lifestyle.

The two Asian guys and one Indian guy I dated were all doing very well for themselves. One came from immigrant parents who worked their way up from poverty to become doctors, and he became a doctor himself. Another came here to study and then started his own business which became successful. The third came here to study and got a very good job in his brainy field. I'm pretty far from gold digger. These men were all much more materialistic and concerned with status than I've ever been. It wasn't their money or stuff that was attractive - it was that go-getter drive to make something of themselves.

Also, majority of them are seen as being crazy and temperamental. Many of them even lie and try to pass themselves off as Italian.

It's very sad, and I feel sad for the kind of world the people that propogate that live in. Where I come from, we judge people based on their actions, not generalized preconceived notions we have based on skin colour. That said, racism exists, as evidenced by this thread, so I guess whether indian or muslim men have it harder is based on where they live and what sort of prejudices people have. They should just move to my city then though, because no particular race struggles here from my experience, only particular individuals 1

Maybe its because these Men are specifically seeking out "white women to marry" as opposed to women from their own ethnicity. But part of the appeal of these men is that they are wealthy, and can afford nice things, socially stable, have high social status because of their wealth and profession, and can buy their white girlfriends luxurious gifts. I doubt there would be many white women who would be interested in dating a Asian Man who was poor and unambitious.

These guys didn't let the color of their skin stop them from anything - pursuing a good career, or approaching women. I've tried dating guys who weren't that ambitious or didn't have good self-direction - but they always acted threatened because I was more ambitious and self-directed than they were, started chipping away at me. That's a major drag. Go-getters of any ethnicity have stronger self-esteem, and are more capable of doing the hard work that a relationship sometimes requires.

Its not like all caucasian women only worthy of ambitious & wealthy men. There are lots of unambitious women out there, who might want an ambitious successful guy, but whether they are entitled to it is another thing...no matter what his ethnicity. I know a lot here talk about their post grads, masters, mbas & phds or wanting ambitious partners, but there are plenty of people out there who are teachers, plumbers, welders, accounts clerks, production planners, web designers, nurses, truck drivers, mechanics, renovators, etc who find love and are just as worthy of it. It is BS that only asian men who have a degree & make 6 figures should be worthy of being considered a contender by caucasian women as a good lover & husband (but I know that attitude is out there)

Now, Latino guys are another animal. I've been approached by high-earning Latinos all the way to unemployed dudes living with mom and dad. From what I have seen, a lot of Latino guys have ridiculous confidence.
