Anna84 Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Depends on how persistent he is. If he'd be asking me when he'd see me again, I'd probably tell him that I don't see a future because I'm too preoccupied with other things (career, study) and that I'm not really feeling a click. The best thing would be however if he wasn't contacting me either, so that I wouldn't have to bring up the subject. THe reason why I'd feel uncomfortable with saying I don't want to date him anymore, is because it might make him want me even more (wanting what you can't have sorta thing), turning it into a very awkard situation.
phineas Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 99.9% of the women I knew just fell off the face of the earth. This actually works for me because if I don't hear back from a woman in a day or two I consider it done & don't contact again.
Author EmHope Posted October 14, 2012 Author Posted October 14, 2012 What makes me so paranoid is because, I like him but I wasn't ready for the game. It would be easier for me if I don't like him at all.
mammasita Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 Just start ignoring him. That's the biggest blow to the ego ever, especially since you do like him and he knows it.
Author EmHope Posted October 14, 2012 Author Posted October 14, 2012 Is there any better way to handle it? Did the disappearing act when I was younger but don't think it's the good way out.
mammasita Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 You can always be completely honest and lay everything on the table... "I really like you, but I don't feel like you're ready to give me what I'm looking for" 1
