Never get sh*t faced around your ex!

 

My ex was my designated driver last night for my Bday. The night was all fine and dandy until we left for home. I don't remember much but we got food after the bar and next thing I remember, she's f*cking pissed at me.

I'm old enough to know better too.

 

I don't really drink much anymore but it was my Bday.

 

I'm in a good place regarding my break up. I'm not sure if you're familiar with my story but we share a child together so we see each other a lot. I am generally happy around her and I've accepted(for the most part) the break up.

 

I think I just drank too much and probably said stuff I shouldn't have. I really don't remember. I'm actually getting this feeling she's a little jealous when I mention other girls. Even though she keeps telling me to go out and date people. She says just cuz I date someone doesn't mean we won't ever get back together. So confusing but I try not to think about stuff like that.

 

I take each day as they come. No dwelling and no racking my brain of the future.

 

I believe it was just another setback among many that I've had with her.

 

There have been huge strides as well, don't get me wrong. Anyway, I'll get over this.

I hope so. It's been almost 8 months of this. I would obviously love to have my family back as a unit, but I know I can't hope for that forever. I'm just waiting for my inner self to tell me it's time to move on.

I don't like to avoid things, I take them head on! Just kidding. I know you're right, but we usually do have good times together. Just a setback is what I'm telling myself.
