thatcatlady67 Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 The gentleman I have been kinda-sorta dating for the last 20 months, just popped the question. This is the guy I have worked with for over 4 years, he is 19 years older than me, asked me out two Valentines Days ago. (Today is my 45th birthday, and he proposes marriage. He is holiday-oriented, I guess!) Things have never progressed beyond a hug and a quick peck. We have attended social functions together, occasionally going out for dinner, as friends. I didn't accept, as I was a bit blindsided. I didn't say no, either. I have always tended to jump into relationships way too fast, and made it a point not to rush things this time. I am laughing at myself, contemplating actually doing this, after swearing up and down I would never get married again. 1
FitChick Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Is he impotent? Could you be in a sexless marriage?
CptObvious Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Is he rich? c'mon now, we can't help you make a decision without his financial record.
kae Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 u kinda sorta been seeing him? your 19 yrs younger then him?? you were blindsided and said no? did he bendinknee it? was he prepared? was there a ring? ..or was it spontanious, test type thing question?
Author thatcatlady67 Posted October 12, 2012 Author Posted October 12, 2012 We have been more or less dating, but never defined it as a relationship. There was no ring, not yet anyway.
Author thatcatlady67 Posted October 12, 2012 Author Posted October 12, 2012 (edited) I didn't say yes or no. He reassured me that I didn't have to answer right away, and I said "ok, and that is not a 'no'". Yeah, I was surprised, to say the least! I would not be able to stay in a sexless marriage, so I do hope he is not impotent. I doubt it, but the subject will come up sooner or later. Edited October 12, 2012 by thatcatlady67
