So I've been in a LDR for the past 4 years with visit only about 4-5 times a year...crazy I know. We're still crazy in love (honeymoon phase still chugging along just fine somehow) but I feel like it's becoming a bit too routine, any advice to spice things up?

We talk on skype for 2-3 hours EVERY night, phone sex, webcam masturbation, we've done all of that and we're both super comfortable with each other (how could we not be after 4 years). Many nights we sync up a movie or a show online and watch it together or play online games together and just try to do things we would normally be doing if we were together except for the physical parts.

So do any of you have some fun things you did within your LDR that you could suggest? haha and please don't say "talk less to each other" because we both enjoy it very much :p

It all depends on what you do or have done so far when you meet up. Make a list and I'll see what's been left out.

For the daily contact, I guess you can take him around and he can take you around... That means, it might be boring if you just see him in his bedroom (just to make an example). Also, see if you can get in touch at a different time now and then. It looks like you have a fixed schedule same time every day, and the surprise element is missing. It's not just about that though, you're just missing out on each other's life at different times of the day.

You should close the distance. Can you give us more background info? Four years seems pretty long for an LDR. Do you have an end in sight? If yes, how far is it away? If no, why not? Kudos to you and your SO for staying strong!

Yep it'll be ending next August when I move to there to go to school so we have a year more to hold out. It's about a 10 hour drive so it's quite far off, we met when we were kids (13/14) and exchanged information and we've been in an LDR ever since.
