GymRat Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Hey guys! If you ever look at my post history, you can see that I went through a break up more than a year ago but it's funny to think about it now and how caught up in it I really was. But I have a much different question to ask about now. I had been really into this girl for a while, and I took her on a date all the day back in April and it went really well, she told me immediately after that she had a lot of fun and she even asked if I wanted to hang out after but I couldn't because I had an assignment to finish that same night. Anyways, that was the last we could hang out because I was moving away up north for the summer but I was back in June and I took her out a couple more times, and both times she again told me she had a great time and she kept in touch with me all the way until I was back to school in September. All this time though, we kept contact with each other but it was pretty mutual in that I would text her some days and she would text me some days, and it was a perfect balance! But as soon as school started back up, it seemed like it was always up to me to initiate anything! We went on a couple more dates this past September but she didn't send her usual "I had a fun night" reply and I felt like she didn't want to really engage in anything more (even though we kissed at the end of each date). I think the real issue is that I didn't make a real move each date, so I'm positive I'm clearly to blame. But I hadn't spoken to her in about a week and a half and I ran into her into our campus bar last night and we had a really good time together! But here's my question: since I've been the one messaging her for the last month (when I did), should I try to message her one more time? Or should I hope that she had a good enough time and wait for her to possibly message me? Ugh I already know the answer to this, I don't know why I'm asking this question, but I guess I need someone to tell me how silly I am for not manning up and actually going for it. Cause hey, what's the worst that can happen? Nothing worse than not trying. That's all, thanks!
CC12 Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 Go for it. Running into her last night gives you the perfect excuse to text her. No wait, scratch that. Call her instead.
