poprocks Posted October 10, 2012 Posted October 10, 2012 My bf and I have been dating 4 months. In the beginning he'd text me all day long. I liked that. As time went on, the number of texts per day would decrease...sometimes he'd not text me all day, but he'd call me after work. There was always communication daily. Sunday, he didn't talk to me or reply to my text. When I asked, he said his phone was off and he slept most of the day. He's not talked to me today... Yesterday, I kinda got a little emotional when he was over. I said I was getting more feelings for him and it was kind of scary. Stuff like that. He reassured me, was glad I was being honest with him, and told me to not have my guard up. We do say I love you on a regular basis. I'm just confused as to why he's not talked to me today.... =/

In my experience it tailing off a little has meant the infatuation wearing off and the relationship settling in to something more solid and sustainable. When it reduces significantly or to the extent of very little communication it generally means he's not keen.
