lovecash Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Its been around a month of NC, after I was dumped after a 4.5 year relationship. I have been doing everything I should, focusing on myself, going to the gym, concentrating on my career, etc. However, I feel like I am stuck in a rut. I cant figure out if I'm doing all of these things in an attempt to get her back or am I truly doing them for myself. I think there are two main barriers to my progress: 1) She lives on my block and there is always a constant feeling of I might see her at anytime (I've randomly seen her 3 times in the month of NC) 2) Right before the breakup, she suddenly stopped taking her anti-anxiety medication without knowing the effects (basically you become a very crazy emotional and irritating person). I can't stop rationalizing that this had a HUGE part playing with her emotions and that she will "come to her senses" in a few months when she is feeling normal again. Any advice or encouragement?
