jcee87 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 (edited) I am not jumping to anything, but my boyfriend and I have been together for over two years. We spent one night together, and have been inseparable ever since. We moved in with eachother in less than a year. We have never used condoms, so I find it odd that I found one in a random bag I found in the garage, we have been doing some cleaning. I have NEVER had anything ever question him before. I'm not a person that goes through things, phones, emails, I'm pretty laid back and have faith in people. Not nosey what so ever, and completely found it by accident when I was taking the basket I found it in outside to the trash, to make sure I wasn't throwing away anything by accident. But the expiration date is 03-2016. We've been together since July 2010. How new can these condoms be? Edited October 8, 2012 by jcee87
Balzac Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 First question is how long have you had said garage? Who cleaned out garage last time? Golf buddy? Guest? It's lots of options.
Author jcee87 Posted October 9, 2012 Author Posted October 9, 2012 We moved here in the middle of August. No ones cleaned out the garage, because it's our new place. It was all the things we brought from our old place, that we still haven't gone through. I'm more just confused, because the condom is practically brand new. And that box is from storage.
GLDheart Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Ask him. Toss the thing at him with a straight face. Watch his reaction. 2
veryhappy Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I think it's five years for a condom, so you should ask.
Hawaii50 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Ohhhh man, I've had this happen mistakenly. Was the worst afternoon of my life. It was just a wrapper, too, and turned out her 5 son was playing a bunch of condoms he had found somewhere and stuffed a wrapper my pocket as i was walking by. She did the laundry and then rightfully turned to Satan. We only found out cause she locked herself in her son's room to be away from me and found like 30 more in his closet. It was insane, and I was mortified. Needless to say I was king for a week after that. Thank you for the trip down memory lane.
BetrayedH Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I think you might want to consider becoming a more nosy person for the time being. Confronting him will get you nowhere and if he is having any kind of extracurriculars, he'll take them far underground or ask her to back-off until things cool off. Never reveal your sources. A lot of us betrayed folks dismissed a lot of red flags because of our trust in others. I was with my wife for 19 years before I discovered what kind of person she truly is. Never suspected a thing and glossed over a few things that probably should have been a clue. Usually a quick check through phone, financial, internet, and email records is enough to tell if you should be concerned. It sucks but if you find something, the last thing you'll care about is any guilt you felt over snooping. 2
Ninja'sHusband Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 I dunno, this could easily be nothing. I would be careful whatever you do. Unnecessary jealousy can be a huge turn off, but I've also learned not to ignore signs...sigh.
