justlookingnotbuying Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 hey. thought id post my observations since becoming responsible for the full time parenting of my great 2 kids......its really quite funny!. Women seem to claim that its "honourable". "admirable". etc....but they are actually freaking out and running away. i can back up this claim quite easily....i have occassionally went out and pretented to be single....easy to get to know women and easy to get phone numbers. im tall, good looking and easy to get along with....ive also been out and claimed to have my kids at weekends. same story. however...when i go out and explain the truth, i have full time responsibility for my kids.....big change!!. not interested. i believe that the female instinctivley believes they have no role to play as this man has proven capabale of rasising his kids on his own. that leaves her feeling uncomfortable and obsolete. as i say...just an observation
Balzac Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Sad lament. No idea of what age demographic of women but how sad.

A lot of women in their twenties wouldn't want to be with a man that has kids, a lot of girls growing up picture starting up a family and not marrying a man that already has one. Some of them won't mind at all. But there are a lot of single mothers in their twenties that would probably love to be with a single dad. I do think that when you're older it gets easier. Women will want to expand their options or are more likely to have kids of their own or be divorced.
Titania22 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 All I know is my last boyfriend had custody of his kids, and it was all very challenging. I ended up supporting all 3 of them financially, and there was always alot of drama. I wouldn't do it again.
Author justlookingnotbuying Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 Sounds like quicksand! Sucked in deeply.[/quoteIndeed!....im 34 as was asked in previous posts.... as i say i think the problem lies with the female thinking their maternal instincts are required in order to raise kids and the confusion that ensues with hearing that a man can quite competently raise kids on his own... interestingly we have not heard from any of the "admiring" women yet. hehe
Author justlookingnotbuying Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 Also.... here's another test im going to run..... I'll go out next time and say that i do have full time responsibility for my kids...but that i am struggling to cope. I'll make up some nonsense about having difficulty in choosing girls clothes or tying bunches in my daughters hair.... bet i get a favourable response to that... because they will think they have a role to play! again... just an observation. not trying to cause any ill feeling here.
Titania22 Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Why do you think women want to have a role to play? Maybe they aren't interested in you for a relationship, because they don't want an extra role thrust upon them.
