If one of my friends has gotten physical with some girl who interested me, it immediately turns me off. I start feeling like I got seconds off of my buddy. For me its just weird to know my friends done stuff with a girl Im digging, plus when it comes to dating, I like for me and the girl to be completely fresh in each others lives. Not to mention the fact that friend code usually means you back off of people your friend had a past with in any way. Having hooked up with each others friends just seems like drama could ensue at some point. So usually for me, generally, but not always, if one of my friends has gotten physical with a girl (past kissing) I put her in the no go zone. And hell, even kissing a girl whos kissed a friend of mine is a tad weird for me. Regarding acquaintances Im more lax about it. Since I dont really have to worry about drama or anything if I date the girl. Seeing as the acquaintance and I arent close...so thered be little issue. Though Id still prefer not to sleep with someone whos slept with people I know. Its just weird for me. But as I said, Im lax with acquaintances. However, if its an acquaintance Im not fond of, then sometimes a girl having hooked up with him wil have her end up in the no go zone too. All in all, I generally feel weird knowing people who have hooked up with an interest of mine. And its not about numbers. A girl could have hooked up with only a few, or many several guys, and whichever case includes a friend of mine or a guy I kinda know, then it weirds me out. It just seems like people are getting passed around. And hell, I went to a small state school, so that did kinda happen in college...and I surely accepted the fact that some girls wouldnt date me seriously because I hooked up with their friend in the past. It's not all the time, but regular enough that it's not a surprise when it does happen. Hook-ups are meh - it's ex-girlfriends and LTRs where it gets sticky. I'm not a fan of it personally, but if a girl wanted to sex me yet she sexed one of my friends before, I don't think I would be that bothered - depending on what it is I want and what I'm looking for.
MrCastle Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Depends on each individual case. -If he had her for a LTR and I want her for a LTR=No -If he had her for a LTR and I want her for a fling=No (wouldn't want to upset him) -If he had her for a fling and I want her for a LTR=Probably not, unless she really really peaked my interest -If he had her for a fling and I want her for a fling=Yes (it ain't fun if the homies can't have none)
