Els Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Hey, if they're doing fine and they're happy, s'all good. My post was mainly directed at the 'nerdy' guys who can't get a woman and yet sneer at the idea of dating one who is similar to themselves. That is shooting oneself in the foot, if I ever saw it. 1

Basically that's the thing, yes OP, an engineer can do fine. Also, a lot of the people men and women an R&D office are not R&D engineers and their roles are just as important.
Sun Devil Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 When I tell girls that I am taking 2 majors in engineering, they seem to be impressed. However, alot of girls in engineering have boyfriends. So far, I will probably not wind up with a girl in engineering but I believe that having these degrees should impress them. If not, then I will have enought money to buy a wife from another country.

dispatch3d Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Yes they do. Can't these successful engineers date other female engineers and computer nerds as well? It would seem they would have more in common with them. lol no. Unfortunately the ratio of engineering men to women is something like 128758959 to 1. And to answer your question, I know a ****ton of single engineers/computer nerds. Whatup!
