And now I will continue my sincerity toward other people and know that one day, when I am at my utmost sincerity towards another person, they will be that way toward me too. Loyal and honest These two words don't describe my ex very well, but I will follow this mantra, to live the life that is acceptable in my eyes. Because this is all I know about how it should be Responsible I will take responsibility for the choices I make, and the conclusions I come to. I will not chicken out on putting my foot down on unacceptable behavior like I have for so long in the past. And I will be responsible for my own feelings unlike my ex who said all the things that sounded like he wanted to break up with me, but chickened out, and made me say it for him. Loving cautiously I will still love with all my heart, when I determine that person has all these qualities. I will love my friends with all my heart because i know they have always been there for me. Gratitude and appreciative I will always remain thankful for the experiences I have learned from my life, my relationships, and my ex. Although it hurts, and it was unhealthy, I appreciate my ex for illuminating part of my world to how it should be. Now that I know I can also proceed into a healthier future relationship. And I will always be grateful and appreciate these people that stay around supporting me through. So what will you keep on being throughout your years? What do you want to be? 1
cloudatlas Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Genuine. I'd love to remain genuine, and caring. It gets hard, to remain caring when sometimes all you get out of it is pain. But I don't ever want to stop. I want to be forgiving, and kind, and I want to continue trying my best ( & cooking madly. no one should ever make cooking a unloved chore, that's not cool.) And! All your choices! Your choices are awesome. That's the way to do it.
