GirlontheLam Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 "Fat" is subjective. "Obese" (and "overweight") aren't - in that there's a well accepted definition based not on dress size but on height and weight. The previous example of 5 foot 5 and 150 pounds is right on the line between Overweight and Normal Weight. I haven't found an authoritative enough source to figure out which... many sources are written ambiguously and include BMI = 25 (which that equates to) as being both at the top of one range and at the bottom of the other. BMI isn't a clear indicator. The best one is body fat percentage and waist size is also a good indicator of health/disease risk too. Unfortunately body fat percentage is much harder to measure cheaply, so people use the scale as a poor substitute. For someone like me, weighing around 140 would actually put me at the risk of not having enough body fat to menstruate. For someone else my height, they might feel a little chubby at that weight... . All because we have completely different fat storage patterns and amounts of muscle mass.
kaylan Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Id love to see pics...because some people are really overestimating variance of weight-height combinations. Unless a female is all muscle at 5'5 150, she is most likely carrying a far bit of chub. Especially considering women are predisposed to carry more fat than muscle anyway. Nothing wrong with carrying chub...but lets not pretend its hard to come up with a good idea of someones possible range of proportion based on height and weight stats. Theres only so much musicle and fat you can have in body of a certain size. And knowing activity level helps us determine body size too.

Sorry, guys but most of you are clueless about guessing women's weights. That's why we don't tell you! Many men have this idea that any woman over XXX if "huge" etc.... so it is better to just keep it under wraps. If a woman looks great (to you) and her weight is over your XXX, does it really matter what she weighs?

If a woman looks great (to you) and her weight is over your XXX, does it really matter what she weighs? Nope. Not in the least. But apparently all of my physical deficiencies make me completely unattractive to women, so maybe I should start caring after all.
kaylan Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 (edited) And plenty of chicks dont accurately know their weight or account for changes since their last weigh in. Either way (lol get it?), it doesnt matter to me how much a chick weighs so long as she is fit. But generally I can guess pretty correctly someones weight. Then again, I weigh myself a few times a week, Im in the gym a lot, and know the affects of fat and muscle on weight. So Id say Im a good judge if someone doesnt have clothing masking their body much. Edited October 6, 2012 by kaylan
tori0001 Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 All those women at 150 pounds are what a women should look like. Kudos to them.
GirlontheLam Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 To be honest, I have no clue what league I am really in. I am the sort of person that generally everyone likes (at least as a friend). And some people would describe me as cute or pretty or attractive. Other people might say I am cute but I'd be "hotter" if I was slimmer or had a different complexion or you know XXX. But tell you what sometimes men that I would assume are way out of my league approach me, and on the flip side there are other men, that I might think I "out-league" who think I am hideous. So I don't believe in leagues because it surely makes no sense to me. No consistency at all.

If a woman looks great (to you) and her weight is over your XXX, does it really matter what she weighs? Only to smaller and thinner guys. A bigger stronger guy doesn't need you to be a 100 pounds to be able to pick you up. He is not gonna worry about your weight if he thinks you look great.
kaylan Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 PS - Notice how some of them are wearing dark colors or are in blurry photos. Just saying, black across the torso masks proportion and can skew someones weight guesstimates. And they all had some chub on them like I said. But nothing wrong with a lil chub. All those women at 150 pounds are what a women should look like. Kudos to them. A woman should look healthy. Thats it.
GirlontheLam Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 A lot of people get hung up on the number and not how they look and feel... 1

He is not gonna worry about your weight if he thinks you look great. No guys care about the actual numbers. They fear the numbers meaning the girl isnt built like they want. Or they use numbers are rough estimates of what they like. Id generally like a girl whos 5'2 to5'7 and around 100 to 130 pounds. Does it mean I wont date a girl who weighs more? No. Im just giving the general ranges for slim fit chicks who are of those heights. If a girl weighs more, I wont give a damn so long as shes still someone I find attractive.

No, if a guy is like 140 lbs, he might feel insecure to date a girl with the same weight, no matter how great he thinks she looks. He might feel less dominant having the same weight.

He might feel less dominant having the same weight. Really? I havent come across these guys that are stuck on numbers. If anything, not liking a girl your weight is because shes usually to close to his overall size. Men want a woman whos smaller in overall stature so he feels masculine. Do you realize just how small a 140 lb man is? In my case, generally a girl would have to be my height, or regular height with more fat and muscle to weigh 173 like me. In which case its the height, or too much muscle or fat turning me off...not the number. Edited October 6, 2012 by kaylan

He might feel less dominant having the same weight. Some guys will actually be that insecure? That's funny . Mind you, I'm probably the heaviest person in this thread (220lbs) so it's unlikely I will meet many girls heavier than me. Even so, I don't think numbers would be affecting my attraction in anyway.
kaylan Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Browse Photos - My Body Gallery - What Real Women Look Like Shes 5'9 like me, and weighs 175 lbs. Her body is fine, and I could see myself with a girl like that, but the height is something Id prefer to be different. I want to feel bigger than my girl...not based on weight, but based on my biological urges. So her being 175 lbs doesnt matter to be. Shes attractive, and I have been drawn to taller women (sexy jock girls at school haha), but I do prefer a girl wholl make me feel more masculine. And girls of smaller stature do that. Id totally date this chick though if we clicked mentally though, seeing as she doesnt turn me off. Preference doesnt mean I would turn her down. She still look good.

kaylan Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 She's comfortably in my range I would date a 6 foot girl. Dated an Irish girl at the end of high school was about 5'11. Was only a short fling, but damn was she sexy. I never really thought about being shorter than her at the time. I felt like a boss because I landed a tall cute modelish looking girl. 1
veggirl Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Browse Photos - My Body Gallery - What Real Women Look Like Shes 5'9 like me, and weighs 175 lbs. . How can that girl weigh 175 lbs. She looks like she is about 135. She has slim bones, her wrists look like mine, even if she is more muscley than I am there is no way that chick is 45lbs heavier than I am and I am her height. I want to see photos of these people actually on their scales! lol.

I am 175 and 5'8 and not far from the girl in the picture so it can vary person to person. 1

SmileFace Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I am 175 and 5'8 and not far from the girl in the picture so it can vary person to person. Then again I am not a good judge of my own body. I have pics in my profile. The one in the blue is the one when I was around 170 to 175. The other full body pics are at a higher weight.
veggirl Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 It may be muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. yeah I know, I said she may be more muscley than I am (though she doesn't really look muscley at all but you can't see her whole body and that photo is ridic blurry--maybe she is sucking in a gut lol). I understand people can be the same height and weigh drastically different amts and still look basically the same.... it just surprises me every time lol. Cause honestly 175 seems BIG to me....it's pushing 200 lbs for goodness sake. Esp the one that was posting 5'6 and 195 lbs it boggles my mind that those stats can look anything but FAT. maybe cause if I gain 5lbs I feel like I start looking chub lol, so the thought of 45 or whatever makes me want to faint.
yongyong Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 In U.S, the less attractive you are, the better personality you have???????????? Before I get to know the woman, I will just judge they have a smilar personality. Do I ignore the ones I like physically and go for the one I don't find attractive? because ugly people are likely to have good personality? People say stupid things 'hey you have to see what's inside' if someone says 'no she is not type because of yada yada'. Who the f-ck cares what's inside if you don't like what's outside?
