tori0001 Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I don't think I'm in denial. My reality of what I see is different then yours I guess. I think I'm more accepting of ones appearance when it comes to weight.
mesmerized Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 It's average. What would be considered not to be overweight. Myself, I'm 5 foot 5, weigh about 160 pounds and wear a size 9. I walk, run, and weight train. I'm not real skinny, nor fat. I look healthy. I don't get peoples version of fat or obese. Lol why you care so much what some internet people say? Do you get attractive men in real life look at your body and loving it? Thats all that matters. 3
SmileFace Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Lol why you care so much what some internet people say? Do you get attractive men in real life look at your body and loving it? Thats all that matters. Exactly. Quoted for the truth. You can bitch with letters on the screen all day but it is no real life value. 2
tori0001 Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 It's makes for great discussion to find out how people think. By the way, I don't want men looking at my body. I want someone to like and want to get to know me. Otherwise I chop them off at the knees, and we never speak again.
jobaba Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I don't think I'm in denial. My reality of what I see is different then yours I guess. I think I'm more accepting of ones appearance when it comes to weight. Numbers don't matter. If you carry your weight well, and in the right places, you'll still be attractive. I bet that if OP saw a number of women who were 5'6", 160 and carried their weight in the right places, he'd think they were attractive. Most men are OK in that sense. If it looks good on the outside, the numbers don't matter. The last woman I liked told me she was 5'5"-5'6" 140, and I had no idea how she was that. I would have guessed like 125. Either way she looked great. Of course, she was taller than me (by an inch maybe) and I doubt she was willing to overlook that. Women are much more unforgiving when it comes to height and it's not something you can hide if you are a man. But really, so long as you're 40 pounds within the ideal for a woman, you're OK.

If you think someone is not going to judge you by your body- you are fooling yourself. Plus I can link over hundreds of threads on this same matter. Probably even threads with the same person you are trying to convince who was speaking to someone who wanted to discuss this great matter the same way.
tori0001 Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I admit I'm not stick skinny, but I don't think I'm overweight. I think I fall into average size. It don't matter as long as I'm healthy, which I am. Thank God for that.
tori0001 Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 That's not so true. The man I'm dating right now, is not with me for my body, instead he's with me for who i am as person. I'm dating him for the same reason. He's a wonderful person.
tori0001 Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Greznog, have a question for you, what do you consider to not be overweight then, what size and weight. How tall are you, and how much do you weigh? just curious.

mesmerized Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I am 6'8" and just shy of 190 pounds. At 5'5" an acceptable weight would be between 110 pounds for a petite build and 130 for a firm build. Sorry but you sound like a tall lanky dude id never sleep with. You really think you have a good build with that stat??? Lol Youre more than welcome to post a picture to prove me true. 4
tori0001 Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 At 5 foot 5 130 is a decent weight, but not 110 for that tall. My sister is 4 foot 11 and 110 pounds, now that's a good weight for her. It's sad how shallow people are putting a label on people because of someone they deem to be over weight.

So true women want to be loved for who they are and for men not find them beautiful no matter what but wont do the same for short guys
xdahliax Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Not to burst your bubble but basically anyone with 2 X chromosomes and a vagina have plenty of guys wanting to stick it in them. I've been told that from men and women alike, but I guess it's too much for most men on here to think that someone who is 5'6'' and 190 lbs could possibly attract a considerable amount of attention. For people who are recipients of dating advice, you guys sure are judgmental.
Mrlonelyone Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 @tori0001 I was only trying to illustrate that people put such requirements in place in order to narrow down the field. There are hundreds of millions of people in the USA (Billions in the world). A basic cut off like being of a medically healthy weight is something that matters to some people. No one's talking stick skinny.
mesmerized Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Where have you seen me claim to be anything else? I'll get ripped if you show me some research stating tall and lanky puts you at an increased risk of pretty much every health problem under the sun. It actually is not very healthy. I'm posting on my phone or id post some links for you, i read medical articles often. With that stat you lack muscle mass which is not only not healthy for a man but also unattractive to look at.
tori0001 Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Are from America? If not, what country are you from?
kaylan Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 There are leagues when it comes to dating. Since i work out and have good diet, in 1 digit body fat (around 9%) and have attractive body. Then i refuse to date an fat woman... why?. Because i want a women who is ready to put in the same effort in her appearance. You can hate all you want but i am out of 5´6, 170 pounds woman league. When it comes to physical appearance. Single digit body fat? Oh really? Pics or gtfo 3

kaylan Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 (edited) Where have you seen me claim to be anything else? I'll get ripped if you show me some research stating tall and lanky puts you at an increased risk of pretty much every health problem under the sun. Once people get over a certain height, their life expectancy starts to shorten (ba dum cchhh!). All you have to do is look at all the people who last into the latest years of human life. They are all not far from average height. Its got to do with the body's organs being able to support such a large biological system. This is easily google-able. Id say if anything, remaining steady with cardio will keep your heart strong so it can support your large frame. And Id advise weight training too so your bones stay nice and strong as you age. Lifting increases bone density, and the muscles are good too of course. Being as tall as you are becomes problematic when the bones begin to age, so you def want them to be as strong as can be. Also, you are severely underweight for your height dude. Eat bro. Though tbh, part of me is not buying that you are that tall and that light. Even the slimmer NBA players at 6'1 to 6'3 weigh as much as you. Hell, Im slender myself at 5'9 173, and I cant imagine how skinny you are being a foot taller than me and only 17 more pounds. Bristolius Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Isn't the idea of leagues from baseball? If so, are there leagues other than the majors and the minors? If those who believe in leagues are thinking of something other than baseball, and something other than two leagues, are they all thinking the same thing? Another term that is used constantly but never defined. Useless. 1

You're judging too by saying 110 isn't a decent weight for 5'5", but you're annoyed someone here is judging you?
GirlontheLam Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012  she looks average and does not look 195 lbs to me. I mean s.hit I am 5'8 and 125-130, if I gained SIXTY TO SEVENTY POUNDS I would look huuuuuuge. She looks like she weighs like 150. And that is the secret. Weight tells you absolutely nothing about what someone looks like. I love that website. You can stick in any weight/height combo and you'll find people look wildly different at the same weight and height! 1
