HeldbyGravity Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Physically and a bit verbally, I can be such an awkward person. Some of you may be able to relate to noticeably blundering around the world, and thinking about how it affects your dating life, yeah? It's not something to have at the top of your mind when you're with someone special, but it crosses the mind when something happens! Like my stomach randomly decided that 1.) Small sips of coffee will lead to too much caffeine in me, so it'll look like I hate my coffee on the date instead of what really happened "You're SO done with this caffeine, I'm gonna give you a caffeine headache now!"-brain Also... 2.) Brain: "You know how you said yes to those poptarts? Well dude, look in his eyes. Just one look. Okay, NOW you're not hungry anymore and you look like you never eat and drink! Huzzah!" 2.) We were just playing the Wii, goofing off and I SWING to "hit" a ball- bam!, tea EVERYWHERE! I was embarrassed, my nail that hit the glass at full swing throbbing. Thankfully... I may have found someone to put up with these little quirks T_T. I wonder if More will happen soon (and if I'll be able to eat/drink around him for a while) or I'll just get more physically conscious around him, but so far each time we've met he has said he had fun. And on that coffee date, he somehow came out liking me "more". The other time, he began testing the waters by grabbing my hand/arm around the shoulders. So I couldn't have been as noticeably awkward as I thought....
RachR Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 I don't find your actions awkward, just clumsy and quirky. Don't over think it. I think the right guy will find these things cute.
suladas Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Agreed, it's more cute them anything that you're nervous. Plus pretty much guaranteed he's nervous to.
