CopingGal Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 I had a list in which I added something every day. But I used up all the paper in the book. I figured it would be nice to put it here so people can join in every day if they want to. I'm going to list one thing every time I post in this thread. So what am I thankful for today? Websites that help students learn 6

River Rain Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I'm thankful that it's over, that's he's out of my life for good. I'm thankful for my health and my physical fitness. I'm thankful that my dog is doing okay these days, though I know his end is near, being 17-years old. I'm thankful for my income and my lifestyle. I'm thankful for my looks, that my hair is finally growing long, and my beautiful green eyes. I'm thankful for my intellect, my curiosity to learn and my courage to go back to school in January. I'm thankful for my independence and freedom. I'm thankful for the beautiful weather, the sunshine and the fall leaves in full colourful bloom. I'm thankful that I've finally found myself, enjoy my time alone, and my hobbies. I'm thankful that I can still attract the attention of men. I'm thankful that people want to get to know me. I'm thankful that I've been told I don't look a day over 35. I'm thankful I threw my insecurities out the window. I'm thankful for my sexuality, my passion and my desires. I'm thankful that I'm not inhibited. I'm thankful that I left my toxic family behind and never looked back. I'm thankful for my new life as Rain. I'm thankful for being alive, surrounded by nature and beauty. I'm thankful for my positive attitude and my desire to be the best I can be and enjoy life to its fullest. Most of all, I'm thankful for the love I've been able to find for myself and for life. I'm thankful that after all of these years alone, I still have the desire and the capacity to give and receive romantic love. I'm looking forward to sharing myself fully with the right guy who deserves my heart. 1
Anela Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 * The beautiful (but a little chilly) weather. * New art supplies, that I plan to actually use this time. * Nobody has died recently. * Vicks. * Hot tea. * Bookstores and new books. * My parents. * Good people. * The food I ate a little while ago. * The internet, allowing us all to talk (if we wish to), keeping me connected to people in my life, and allowing me to watch things that I can't get on my already -too-expensive cable ($93 and no movie channels included in that). * Borrowing books, music and DVD's from the library. * My really cuddly, clumsy cat, and my dogs. * A nice afternoon. * Supplements. * I haven't been sick today. * Portable heaters. * Autumn colours. * Clean laundry. * Felling motivated. I just wish I'd accomplished more today - it's speeding by. 3

Hey River Rain, Wasn't it just a couple of days ago that you were posting about being in so much pain? Wasn't this pain fresh? Shouldn't you be off by yourself healing and grieving and getting stronger? Just wondering....
