espec10001 Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 So, I read today that the birthrate is very low in the U.S. right now, and that this is primarily due to the poor economy. Since dating and having children go hand in hand, I want to know how our current economy is affecting your dating efforts. Since we all know that the loss of a job or prolonged unemployment can put a serious damper on either sexes efforts to find love, what are your experiences? Have you noticed any differences in the way men and women are handling dating these days? Or, are they dating less, trying to find less expensive or free alternatives for activities to do? What have you noticed, if anything?
El Brujo Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 The lousy economy has actually made me a little better off because I've taken my money-making ideas off the back burner and started putting them to work. But come on, we all know how counterintuitive this dating and romance thing is... women aren't attracted to a hard-working man, especially if he's me.

oaks Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Um, I think its marriage and children go hand in hand. I hope so! At least, I hope it's not dating, or I'm in all sorts of trouble!
