Jake234 Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Hi everyone - I'm new here and could use some opinion from men or women. I met someone over the net who lives in Australia (I am in the US). We emailed and eventually had fun so I suggested skyping and we began having some really great times. Lengthy, fun, and meaningful discussion including talking a lot about visiting in the near future. For reference she is currently in a relationship that seems to be disinteresting her and has also "mentioned" of another guy she was interested in but was frequently getting together with another girl. We skyped about a week ago, had fun, mock-cuddled, I told her a stupid story about a cat. Then she was getting tired and crawled into bed. I said I should go and she didn't want me to. So I stayed and talked until she fell asleep. I then sent her another normally-friendly email and haven't heard back for almost a week (before we would talk at least daily). I just have mixed gut feelings about it all. I don't know what to think. She was a cool overseas friend at first, but I can't help but kind of have feelings now. We are both 20 by the way. I'm having mixed feelings now.
syw0806 Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 That's really sweet of you stayed and talked until she fell asleep!! wow...lol If it's been a week and she still hasn't responded you or made any contact, I'd say move on.... Maybe there's something just happened that she couldn't get to you. Butt... if it's been a week, I say maybe from the last call or chat whatever u guys had, she felt u guys didn't click... well I never asked to be staying up talking to me till I fall asleep though.. maybe shes a real player.... lol If she cared about you enough, she would have emailed you saying something just happened that shes gnna be extremely busy or so.. so that way you are not misunderstanding her. I wouldn't make a guy I like waiting for me like this.. and def reply if im interested. If shes never given you anything, move on.
