MercuryMorrison1 Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 I have a friend whom has started losing his hair he is about a year younger than me at 23 years old. At first he took it pretty hard, but then he started to workout ALOT he went from zero to hero in the body catagory in only a few short months. He still comments on his hairloss occasionally saying things such as ''I miss my hair'' and ''I hate going bald'' he has even expressed intrest in getting hair transplants later on down the road. But for now he seems mostly satisfied with being fit and in shape. This got me to thinking...Though I'm 24 and still have a full head of hair, I realize that I'm actually pretty lucky and now have a little fear of hairloss instilled into me. I can think of at least four friends I have whome are going bald, two of which are already pretty much full on bald on top the oldest of which is only 25 years old. Now my question is...And this has probably been beat to death her on LS, but I dont know. My question is, how much does hairloss really affect one's ''game'' when dating? Does being bald actually lower a man's market value when dating? Or is just the many insecuritys that generally go along with bald/balding men that hurt their ability to meet women? This question is generalized and out there for both men and women of all age's to anwser based on their own personal experience's and/or opinions.
ThaWholigan Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 It's the insecurity. My brother is balding, AND he's short (he hasn't quite reached 21 yet). He still does very well with women.

MrCastle Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 I don't think it's lack of hair. I think, and I'm speaking purely for myself here, I think what women find unattractive is the horseshoe look, or any other hairstyles where your baldness is visibly pronounced. I think if someone is balding, their best bet is to just shave their head. I don't think I've seen a single person in my life where I've said "yikes, they shouldn't have shaved their head". Pretty much every man can pull off the shaved head look, again, in my opinion. If I was a woman, I'd probably prefer a shaved head over a balding head of hair.
