Found out a girl I like has a boyfriend, now she is ignoring me?

Ok... I know what the overall answer to my question will be, but I need some help understanding the psychology behind the situation. So here goes...

 

I have a friend, she knows I have feelings for her but she gave me the "we're just friends" routine. We've gone out as friends a few times since then, and she always calls me when she needs help. Recently she started ignoring me. I did some snooping around her faceboook profile and through an indirect way found out that she had been seeing someone. It wasnt listed on her profile and she still hasnt told me anything yet. So there are a few questions... Why does she not want to reply to any of my messages? Why does she not want to tell me she has a boyfriend? What is she wanting to accomplish by doing this? And finally, why would she call me when she needs help when she had a boyfriend who should be the one she calls?
