DenumChkn Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 I'll try to make this brief and concise by doing chronological bullet points: -Flirted with cute new hostess at work, got to know her a bit, after a couple weeks arranged to meet one night after work -Met up with her and her sister at a local event with some friends I brought (casual setting), went back to friends house after event for more drinks and socializing. I should have kissed her/made my feelings known but I got too drunk/copped out/blew it (Doh, however I didn't feel like this was a deal breaker) -Continued text conversations since that night (Which was just over a week ago today), almost all initiated by me, but with quick and friendly responses on her end. -This past Tuesday she wanted to hang out Wed. night but I couldn't because of work. -I tried to get her to come out Thursday night (she doesn't have a car and couldn't borrow her sisters at the time) and on Friday night asked if she wanted to go on a hike Saturday morning (she said shed love to but couldn't because of homework/work) -I initiated friendly chat on Sunday, as always responds quickly and is engaged and laughing at my texts. And here I am now, not sure what to do.. We have not technically been on a 'date' yet, so I don't know what the stupid ass 'rules' are or whatever at this point. I loathe 'dating' as the game it is and like when things happen more naturally (which is why I really regret not going in for the kiss/making my feelings known the one night we hung out casually). Should I keep texting her and trying to arrange a hangout/date/whatever? I hate talking on the phone and feel like it would be weird to just call her out of the blue and ask her out. I don't see her at work often at all because our schedules rarely line up and even if they do I'm usually busy, you know, working. Can anyone provide me with advice as to my best next move at this point? I meet pretty girls all the time and usually could give a ****e what they think about me, but RARELY do I ever click with them like this one and I'll be pissed if I blow this one. Thanks in advance for any and all responses. I'd especially like to hear from other ladies on this one.
