darkmoon Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 (edited) we were accused on another thread, quote "Meh, no different than women getting 'mad' at men for not paying for them on dates. For every man who believes a woman should put out on the fourth date or even before that, there is a woman who believes a man should pay out for the first four dates or even after that" this is not something i've ever done - and you? january2011 Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 (edited) To be honest, it's never really been a problem. Certainly not as much as it's been made out to be on this site. In my experience, on the first date, the guy has always paid. For subsequent dates, the guy has paid the bill the majority of the time, despite my offering to at least go dutch or telling him that it's my turn. Even the SO wants to pay when we're celebrating something for him and I was the one who suggested the meal! I don't let him pay though. Sometimes, I excuse myself to go to the bathroom and pay on my way there. Edited October 1, 2012 by january2011
River Rain Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 I always would assume we pay 50-50. I am pretty independent and can support myself, so I wouldn't expect the man to pay everything. I mean, if he insists that's another story, but then I might insist too. Equality is important to me.
