CheezDoodle Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Or is my self esteem just lacking? This girl who likes me (feeling is mutual) is really active. Clubs/schoolwork, and sports. She's pretty busy during certain times of the year. Me on the other hand. I had to give up my sport a long time ago for family reasons so I no longer can compete at the college level even if I wanted to. I have very few clubs, and find myself lounging around my apartment more than not certain days. It just kind of bothers me as to why she likes me. She's also really energetic, while I tend to be more composed (though I am no doubt a kid at heart) and only get energetic (crazy energetic...) when I get excited over something. And of course her being white and I black also kind of bothers me though I know it shouldn't. My question? Why isn't she gunning for some athletic. attractive, smart fit white guy. Innocence (no cursing/sex etc) is important to her, but there are plenty of guys like that in the world besides me, and a few she knows...
