As a girl... i'll say that No means No.

I think that kalookakoo is deluding himself, and basically is only saying what you yourself want to hear and relate to your own situation so you listen harder because that appeals to you.

she said no... i would forget about it. It's only one in a hundred that would change their minds, and those odds aren't stacked in your favour.

I also add... I asked a guy I work with sometimes out the other night. I did so because he had been giving me what i thought were "green light" signals.

I'm usually pretty good at knowing when someone's interested.

Anyway he said... "I really would like to, but I've just got alot of baggage from my marriage at the moment"

I didn't even know he was ever married. In fact this may even have been a lie.

Now, i could take that as... "I really like you, i'm just not ready right now... Wait around and maybe i'll be ready one day."

What an idiot i would be if I thought that right?

Truth is, that if he did like me, and wanted to get to know me better, all the baggage in the world wouldn't of stopped him from going out with me. When you want something... there is always a way. When you don't, there's always an excuse.
