I recently got separated 10 months ago from my wife of 7 years. She left me for a friend and it blowed my world up. She was very materialistic and based relationships on presents and money. I recently met a new girl over the past 2 months and I realize we arent made for each other. Im 27, shes 24. I have a full time "career" and she is a bar tender workin until 2am seven nights a week. When I first met her we hit it off, and planned a few day trips together. Was just friends. Last month she hit me with the "I'm getting feelings for you lets date, I cant be just friends with you" It was all fine and dandy until now I realize she drinks every night after she gets off work, She dont get drunk, but she does drink every night and I dont want that type of girl. Also, I start work at 7am...so it's hard for us to even hang out, because I'm in bed by the time she gets off, which in return brings up my trust issues from past marriage. I have no idea what she does when she gets off.... I've brung up my concerns and she just says I need to trust her and we can make this work, but i really dont think i want to.... I tried to end it earlier this week, but she will text me through out the day saying "miss talkin to ya" - - "lets hang out" - -then she will get her attitude and say im a dick head for wanting to leave her...

...basically, should i just keep ignoring her ? she dosent understand my reasons of lacking trust. She is persistant on keeping me as a boy friend, so maybe she is loyal ? I dont know what to do

From your post you dont sound like your over your ex, best thing to do is not date anyone and take time to yourself, just be truthful with the chick.

When people break up and use lame excuses or just ignore, the other person analyses themselves until the feel greatly down about themselves.

Just be truthful, trust me its better knowing the truth, id rather think you were an ass than rip myself to shreds wondering what it was.
