It's very easy for anonymous laypeople on an internet to make all kinds of "diagnoses" about people's hidden / unconscious / "subconscious" motivations, smugly able to argue back if challenged that "you can't say whether it is or isn't" (usually with a "lol" added for good measure). Which of course is not true. There are plenty of tools for accessing the Unconscious / "subconscious" including hypnosis and good psychotherapy. It's perfectly conceivable for someone who has gone through processes of self-discovery such as those to resolve such issues and become aware of their hidden motivations, and to know a lot more about what drove them to do something than some random onlooker on the other side of an internet connection.

Who argued that people can never access their subconscious?

I for one believe you indeed can, as you've pointed out, through tools of self-discovery. I know firsthand, because I have undergone that process myself and advocate it pretty much all the time on LS. I always come from a position that one should ask themselves some key questions and explore what's going on with them.

I've said on LS before that some choices people make to me seem very problematic; however, if upon doing sufficient self-work they have come to true peace and awareness that it's a good choice, then more power to them. I reserve the right to remain skeptical until then though.

But, this is indeed an anonymous internet board, and we all reserve the right to conclude whatever we want about people. In the grand scheme of things whether or not people's assessment of you is correct or incorrect has little bearing on your life. But since it's a discussion board, people will discuss and form opinions as they see fit.
