TG1 Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Sometimes I can't help but feel that my girlfriend's mother doesn't like me very much at all, because whenever she sees me, she says hi to me and I say hi to her and she acts nice around me and I act nice around her but sometimes I just get a vibe that maybe she doesn't like me very much at all, maybe sometimes by the way she looks at me whenever I am around my girlfriend her daughter or probably because of things I have done in the past, but maybe I am reading too much into things but I just can't help the feeling that my girlfriend's mother on some level hates me and if she does, then it's understandable considering I am 22 and my girlfriend just turned 20 today

Minka333 Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Maybe you are just paranoid coz' you care too much about your gf and you naturally want to please the people that matters to her. It's normal to feel that way but unless there's no concrete proof then i guess you're ok.

That's true, I do want to impress the people who matter to her but I think she also wants to do the same for me when it comes to my family and friends

Just as long as you're not doing anything bad against her or her family then i see you both off in a good start. Some mothers are just naturally protective over their precious daughters that sometimes even the best men aren't good enough.
