Getting in contact with a friend from the past, who my ex HATES!

Okay so i'm in two minds with what to do...

 

 

When me and my ex first got together i was really good friends with this other guy. We spoke all the time and had a great freindship (sometimes being a bit flirty - but i can assure everyone it was nothig more than a friendship). Anyway one day about 6 months into mine and my ex's relationship he found a conversation which consisted of me and this friend talking about visiting eachother and seeing eachothers families ( we lived in different parts of the country).

 

So hell broke loose and my current ex essentially asked me to break of that friendship. But now we have been broken up over half a year im considering getting back in contact with this freind. Now my problems are that I still love my ex and although we are over are still freinds and I know feelings are still there. It would crush him and any hope of reconciliation would be tarnished. I also do not want my freind to feel angered by the fact its taken me and my ex breaking up to talk to him

 

I just know me making contact would cause a stir.

also what was the last thing you said to this other friend? seems like you have gotten yourself into a little pickle there lol

We broke up because he didnt want the commitment of a girlfriend anymore, just to chill about ect. To be honest, there was no given reason just over time thats all i've been given. We where together for nearly 5 years.

 

I honestly couldnt remember the last thing i said, it was so long ago
